Silver Dollar City
Consistently rated as one of America’s top theme parks, Silver Dollar City is a must for any visiting youth or student group. It has everything: entertainment, food, educational opportunities, and of course, rides.
Silver Dollar City encourages student group visits and even has special packages and opportunities available. There are special student-only days where they learn about careers, science, and math or participate in student choir performances.
For many young people, the focus will be the attractions. The park has over 40 rides, including five exciting roller coasters.
Aquarium at the Boardwalk
With over 250 different kinds of marine life, this walkthrough aquarium has colorful exhibits, beautiful displays, and opportunities to touch sea creatures like stingrays and starfish. The Aquarium even has group discount rates for groups of 15 or more.
You’ll see sharks, jellyfish, seahorses, and more fish species than you can count. Draw a fish and watch it come to life on a fun, interactive screen. Take a 5-D submarine ride to the ocean floor and learn about the fish you find along the way. They even have a large coral reef where you can view the tropical fish and marine life that live there.

Titanic Museum
The Titanic Museum in Branson is the largest Titanic museum in the United States. This self-guided tour takes you through rooms of authentic Titanic artifacts, and audio recordings help you learn the history behind each display. Students will get a boarding pass of an actual Titanic passenger as they enter and can learn the fate of their passenger in the Memorial Room.
There are interactive displays as well, where you can touch an actual iceberg and feel how cold the water was on that tragic night. Group rates are available, and student performances are welcome.
Butterfly Palace and Rainforest Adventure
At the Butterfly Palace, students can learn about the butterfly life cycle as well as view other animals that live in rainforest climates. There is a room with reptiles and frogs, a mirror maze, and of course, our large butterfly enclosure where you can hand-feed butterflies.
When you purchase an entry wristband it is good for three days of admission, and group rates are available. This is an experience that is both educational and fun for all ages!
Volunteering for Local Non-Profits
If your youth or student group is looking to put in some volunteer hours while you visit, there are many non-profits in Branson looking for help. Contact the non-profits you are interested in assisting to see what kind of volunteer opportunities are available during your visit.
Kids Across America (KAA) – A camp to help develop urban kids into Christian leaders.
Boys and Girls Club of the Ozarks – A youth program designed to give kids a safe place to develop and grow, open after school and all summer long.
Elevate Branson – A Christian outreach serving the homeless residents of Branson, providing them with tools and opportunities to better their lives.
Shepherd of the Hills Humane Society– Branson’s animal shelter is always looking for people to volunteer at the shelter or at the thrift store.
The Salvation Army Branson – An outreach serving food, providing resources, and sharing ministry with the local community.
