He joined the Grand Country team in 1995 at the encouragement of the late Tom Brumley. Don had been working sound for Roy Clark when Tom identified his amazing audio skills and told Glenn Robinson we had to have him. He has the reputation of a top-notch audio operator, but he’s also a genius with audio and electrical repairs. He’s literally kept us going for nearly 30 years. We don’t have an accurate accounting of how many shows Don has worked, but it has to be in the the tens of thousands. Although I’m personally saddened to see Don retire, he’s certainly more than earned it. We’re so thankful for him many years of service and dedication to Grand Country. His commitment to our organization has been instrumental to our success. On behalf of all of us at Grand Country…. THANK YOU DON! We wish you all the happiness in the next journey in life.
